happy with my purchase
So I'm really glad I decided on this model. the fan is really powerful and a little bit loud, but honestly it works so well that its really no big deal. Even with my ceiling being a little shy of eight feet it worked out perfectly, I still have the recommended 29" clearance from bottom to top. Looks fabulous too and that's always a good thing.

Problems
I purchased hood 11 months ago. I cannot set the clock, light dimmer function does not work and it starting beeping intermittently. The manual that came with it is not helpful at all. I am getting frustrated. I would not recommend this product at this time. I would change my mind if the company would help me out.

Low price and great looks
Obviously the low price was the first thing that pulled me in, especially when paired with the good looks, but this range hood functions just as well as range hoods that are twice as expensive as this one is. This is a high quality product and it looks great.

Buyer beware
I bought my 36" hood a while back. The board crapped out shortly after it was professionally installed. I contacted the company and they sent me all new control unIts. Great,right. Not.....when I had my electrician come out to install it he told me that what they sent did not fit my unit. Wonderful!!! I contacted the company again and they said there was nothing they could do, they considered it a closed matter since they sent the parts.
Whatever, I'm a cancer patient and don't have time to deal with this. I figured I would put up with it for as long as the remote worked. That died today. Replaced the battery. Nothing. Guess it's time to get rid of this thing once and for all.
I work with customers daily on their new homes and I tell everyone of them not to purchase this hood. It's the one spot in my own remodel hat I regret

so happy with this purchase cause it's the perfect thing
I thought carefully about every single piece I put into my kitchen as I was renovating it. It was important that I find a range hood that complimented everything else with a sleek and stylish appearance. Affordability was secondary but still extremely important, and this range hood fit the bill perfectly. It fit in so perfectly to its place in the kitchen. I get compliments on it all the time, I couldn't be happier.

I'm pleased with the quality and function.
We have had this in our kitchen for awhile now and I am really happy with it. A cool note is the function where a light blinks to remind you whenever it is time to check your filters. The exhaust is a little loud but it is seriously worth it, because it really ventilates super well. The lights aren't too bright but they are good for their purpose, which is a plus for me. I think the biggest things to mention are that this hood is a seriously good value for the money, and it is a really attractive item for your kitchen. Like, it really does look awesome. The only negative I can think of is that the first one we received didn't work properly but it was quickly replaced, so it wasn't really a big deal. Overall I'm satisfied with everything.

I bought this range hood two years ago. I’ve had it repaired once already due to power shutdown of Cavaliere sv218d i30" range hood. now it happened again . Doesn’t work the model is beautiful model Cavaliere SV218D I30" range hood but .
I called to ask for some support and I was told that everything will be handled through emails unaware of how is that going to help me but I would appreciate if someone help me out with this situation because it says it’s supposed to be up to five years and it has just made 2nd year .

Struggled with installation but it works great now
So, I installed this unit over a couple days time and had an issue with the fan not working. I contacted the manufacturer and they advised me to check the connections within the unit, and I saw right away that a capacitator had come unplugged from its place. I fixed that and BOOM! Fan works great! Quieter than I thought it would be actually. Looks beautiful in the kitchen too, really updates the place.

tough to install but very happy with it now
It was important to me to get a range hood that looked sleek and stylish because we just redid our kitchen. So I bought this one and I am VERY happy with how it looks in the kitchen. I struggled a little bit with the installation to be honest because I the instructions were tough to understand in parts. Also struggled to remove the outer packaging when it first arrived. Once we got it installed, we were happy with how well it functions though, and it's definitely a great value for the cost. It got here quick too, which is always a nice bonus.

Beware!
I have had this for a year now and decided to put the filter in the dishwasher to clean it. The manual said that is the way to clean it. When I took it out of the dishwasher it had discolored and now looks bad. Don't put them in the dishwasher. The fan is also noisy but does reduce the humidity and odors in my kitchen.

We've been using this hood for almost a year now and we love it. It is just as awesome as the reviews said it would be. The fan is more quiet than the one we had before, and it pulls more CMFs, it definitely clears the air quickly and efficiently. We are pretty pleased with our purchase.

Works and looks great
Have had this unit since 2011. I love it. Works better than expected. I came on this site for one reason and am disappointed only because I need two new hoods for a new house and can’t find any larger than 36 inches (need indoor 48 and outdoor 40). But I do highly recommend this hood.

This unit looks fantastic and has been exactly as decribed. It is at the center of our kitchen and we have received many feedbacks of how amazing it looks! I had a slight rough installation but guaranteed that it has nothing to do with the product. With everything considered, it looks and works terrific! I also love how it's price is just a fraction if you purchased something like this from a more established brand! We also added a stainless steel sheet underneath and a stainless shelf for a perfect touch.

very pleased with my purchase
Delivery was on time but the range hood arrived with the hardware packet and instructions missing from the package. I had to call Cavaliere's customer service and they were awesome, very friendly and sympathetic, and they issued me a refund for the hardware. I ended up going to the hardware store for bolts and screws etc and I googled instructions for how to install it, was no problem at all. So now it looks terrific and it works really well too, the fan is really quiet. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I really like the fact that it has a simple and very functional design but it still looks good. I've been using it for awhile now and I'm pretty happy with it. Nice bright light, and the exaust fan pulls alot of smoke and smell out of the air.

really good price for a nice range hood
This range hood is really easy to install and it's priced so reasonably, I kind of had to see it to believe that it would work as well as the reviews say, but I was convinced by the end of the first day. One cool thing is that the hood doesn't vibrate when the fan is on, which is a major pet peeve for me, so I was relieved. I do have one criticism though, and it is that the LED display is too darn bright. Other than that I feel like we got a great range hood for a steal of a price.

This is a lovely and fully functional exhaust fan at a very affordable cost. It has six speeds on the fan, LED lights. A light delay of function for the shutdown timer but can select at an interval. The clock can be set to turn off after a bit of time if you have too many digital clocks on your appliances. The delivery met my expectations and support was very responsive at the point of contact. To sum up everything, Iâm extremely satisfied with my purchase.

I am very happy with this purchase and I felt that the price was not bad at all. It has a nice elegant look to it, which is good for my kitchen. I was pleased to see that you can change the light to a dimmer setting when and if needed.Its also easy to take apart and clean. The LED light is really bright, it gives the whole range kind of a blue tint when the kitchen lights are off, but that's a small price to pay for satisfaction. All in all I am happy.

Very nice range hood. I am very happy that I chose this on my kitchen remodel because it looks fantastic!
This is a very nice range hood that even my contractor has been able to appreciate it. Although "touch screen" buttons took me a little time to get used to, but I eventually was able to figure out that you just have to gently push it to turn it on. It's sound doesn't seem distracting even on its' highest setting. Plus, the steam provides an easing smell on the kitchen! I am very happy that I chose this on my kitchen remodel because it looks fantastic!

Stopped working
I bought this less than 5 years ago and it was installed and working fine until last week. Cavaliere now tells me that the 'chinese' company that made this then is no longer in business and I should just buy a new one?? I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT

quiet and efficient
The only thing I would change is, I wish that the light had a better dim fucntion , because it is very bright. However it's just the thing I was looking for, because the fan is very quiet when it runs and it just generally functions very well. In a perfect world they might include some instructions on things like changing the clock and filters. But I have to say that overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Piece de resistance
This became the statement piece of our redecorated kitchen right way. The idea was to modernize the looks of the place without a heavy remodel witha heavy budget and this fit the bill perfectly, because the price is low but the looks are high-end. Can't find replacement filters anywhere
The hood works ok. If your hands are wet when you turn the light on it continually dims and brightens until it is completely dried and you tap it to stop. Then you play the game of getting the brightness to where you want it. The grease filters are impossible to find a replacement for and are not easy to clean. This webpage has no customer service and the social media links go to a bathroom company.

Can be compared to commercial hoods! Doesn't take too much effort to clean and is very shiny.
This can be compared to commercial hoods because it has a very significant exhaust power and I really love the fact that is has various light settings (up to 6 settings for the exhaust and has 3 filters). I am not sure if this is washable but tried doing so and it looks amazing! It doesn't take too much effort to clean and is very shiny. Just not sure about the filters but hand-washing works!
